Manoj K Jayan is a Malayalm actor, born in Kottayam district in Kerala to the famous Carnatic musician Jayan of the Jaya-Vijaya fame. He won the Kerala State Film Award for the best actor for his performance in the movie 'Sargam'. He was married to the famous Malayalam/Tamil actress Urvashi.They divorced in 2008. He has a daughter named Thejalakshmi (Kunjaatta).
